CPO6 Volunteer and Leadership OPEN Positions
CPO6 which is the area in Washington County that includes Aloha, Reedville, Cooper Mountain, and Progress Ridge areas has openings for volunteers to join the leadership team. There is an opening for a Chair or Vice Chairperson in addition, to seeking numerous other volunteers who would like to be involved in various sub-group projects. Refer to the chart below. The proposed new structure is to optimize peoples interests into various sub committees. All of the members are part of the “CPO6 Team” who have a vested interest in activities occurring within the district.
The plan is to have a “Transportation” person keep tabs on all road ordinances and plans proposed by the county. The “Land Use” person will support the team by reporting and keeping track of proposed housing developments and zoning matters. The “Community Services” person is to be the focal point of matters relating to community events and activities, i.e.: schools, homelessness, fairs, businesses, etc. If there is enough “volunteer” interest, these teams can be further subdivided into North and South Geographic areas for example. All of these volunteers are part of the overall CPO6 leadership team reporting to the Chair and Vice Chair.
